Internal Communications Manager

Elland, West Yorkshire (Hybrid working, one to two days at the office per week)
Competitive salary & benefits

At Marshalls, we believe building tomorrow's world starts with what we can create together today. Since the 1890s, we've grown from a Yorkshire stone business into a leading UK manufacturer of building, roofing and landscaping solutions. Today, we support the people who design, build and maintain the homes, schools, hospitals, streets and infrastructure that communities across the UK rely on. Built on generations of expertise, we're known for quality, innovation and sustainability, helping our customers bring their vision to life and create places that work today and last for generations. We're proud of our heritage, excited by what's next and committed to helping our colleagues grow, develop and make a real difference. Together, we're building tomorrow's world.

From our manufacturing sites and quarries to our commercial and support teams, people are at the heart of everything we do at Marshalls. Our Internal Communications team plays a vital role in bringing colleagues together through communications that inform, inspire and engage, helping people connect with our strategy, values and ambitions while bringing our culture to life.

We're looking for an Internal Communications Manager who loves telling stories, building relationships and finding creative ways to engage people. This is an opportunity to make a real impact across the Marshalls Group, helping colleagues across our diverse workforce feel informed, engaged and connected to the role they play in our success.

What's the mission?

Reporting to the Internal Communications & Engagement Lead, you'll help shape the stories, messages and conversations that connect colleagues to Marshalls. Working closely with leaders and teams across the business, you'll bring strategic priorities, important updates, colleague successes and key initiatives to life through communications that are clear, engaging and meaningful.

As a trusted communications partner, you'll work closely with leaders and teams across the business, helping them communicate with clarity, confidence and impact. You'll provide expert advice and guidance, turning complex messages into compelling content and ensuring communication is aligned, consistent and audience focused.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
