  • Channel management: Maintain and develop MRS-GM internal communication channels, including intranet content, editorial calendars and event communications, ensuring channels are well-governed, engaging, current, and aligned to audience needs. Bring creativity to digital channels to improve reach and engagement.
  • Measurement and continuous improvement: Track communication and campaign performance using relevant metrics, feedback and channel insights, and use findings to improve reach, engagement, clarity, and effectiveness.
  • Conduct and outcomes: Support good conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers and policyholders.
  • Governance, planning, and process: Ensure internal communications follow relevant standards, governance, and approval processes. Manage editorial planning routines, including the monthly editorial committee, to align content, share insights, and gather feedback.
  • Business area communications support: Serve as the key internal communications contact for assigned business areas and topics, including Legal, Risk & Compliance, Operations, Claims, and ESG, developing processes that improve coordination, planning, and delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
