About The Role
Motability Operations are currently recruiting for an Internal Communications Manager to join our team in either Bristol or London on a 12-month FTC/Secondment. Working in our People Experience team and reporting to the Internal Communications and Engagement Lead, this role supports the promotion of Motability Operations (MO’s) story internally, ensuring that information is conveyed in an engaging and compelling way, using multiple channels and across all teams within the business.
The overall objective of this role is to engage all employees within MO by sourcing, creating, and delivering news and updates to enable them to do their best work.
Responsibilities
- Create, design and manage content on MO’s digital channels by ensuring news stories are timely, relevant and reflect what’s going on across the business.
- Collect and create content from all departments across the business and develop ‘reporter style’ relationship with key stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of the internal communications channel strategy to create greater engagement across digital channels.
- Design and deliver creative communications content across several channels including videos, webinars, podcasts, articles, and blogs.
- Lead the Viva Engage platform and creatively create ways to build on its impact across the business
- Work closely with intranet content owners from across the business on keeping content up to date with intranet training.
- Work closely with Belonging@MO networks to support their comms and engagement plans
- Ensure the internal communications calendar is always up to date and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Act as an internal reporter within MO, seeking out stories and building relationships across the business.
- Support the delivery of face-to-face internal communication events such as employee roadshows, networking events, celebration days, conferences.

- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, applying sound judgement and acting on your own initiative, adapting to change and new challenges as required.
- You are a highly organised individual and possess the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- You are focussed on attention to detail and time management.

Minimum Criteria
- Previous experience of creating and managing content on digital channels
- Demonstrable experience of running successful internal communications campaigns.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent copy-editing skills.
- Ability to work effectively with many different internal stakeholders.

We operate hybrid working across the organisation where we split our time between working on-site at our offices, and at home, remotely within the UK.
