Freelance Internal Communications Manager
Are you an experienced internal communications specialist who knows how to engage people, bring messages to life and turn complex information into compelling content?
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering internal communications across Teams, intranet, email and video
- Owning the weekly newsletter, from content planning and creation to distribution and analytics
- Creating engaging articles, announcements, leadership Q&As and town hall materials
- Supporting senior leaders with key meetings, messaging and communications
- Working with Marketing, Digital and Events to deliver branded communications
- Helping revitalise the intranet and improve employee engagement
- Using feedback and analytics to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement

What we’re looking for:
- Internal communications experience, ideally within financial services or another complex, regulated environment
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to simplify complex messages
- Confident stakeholder management, including experience working with senior leaders
- Experience with digital communication platforms and an interest in AI and emerging technologies
- A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
