Main Purpose of Job
As Internal Communications Manager, you will support and help shape Arch Insurance International's (AINTL) internal communications function — ensuring employees across all geographies and functions are informed, engaged, and connected to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications Strategy, Frameworks & Governance
- Support the delivery of AINTL's internal communications strategy across business units, markets, and geographies.
- Contribute to approval and governance frameworks that ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
- Help maintain tone of voice and brand guidelines across all regions, while monitoring communications effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
Editorial Planning & Content
- Assist in building and managing an editorial calendar to keep communications consistent and well-timed.
- Produce and coordinate employee communications across multiple channels — including the intranet, email, digital screens, newsletters, and town hall materials.
- Ensure all communications are clear, audience-focused, and value-driven, with each channel serving its defined purpose within the broader communications framework.

Stakeholder Engagement & Manager Support
- Support the information cascade process, ensuring employees receive key announcements through official Arch channels ahead of wider publication.
- Help prepare supporting materials for manager pre-briefings — including FAQs, talking points, and scripted guidance.
- Help coordinate a Communications Liaison Network across AINTL's key territories to gather local news and ensure communications reflect the full breadth of our international operations.
Group Liaison & Alignment
- Support alignment with Arch Capital Group on enterprise standards and group-wide campaigns.
- Help share AINTL stories on the company intranet, championing local news and priorities at group level.
- Act as a collaborative link between AINTL and Group, ensuring local voices and successes are visible at enterprise level.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in an internal communications, employee communications, or related role.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style across audiences and channels, and the discretion to handle sensitive information with sound judgement.
- Some exposure to communications governance, approval processes, or editorial standards, with a willingness to develop and own these frameworks over time.
- Comfortable engaging with and supporting key stakeholders, with the confidence to offer guidance on messaging and best practice.
- Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across a geographically diverse organisation.
- Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems and communications or analytics tools, with an interest in how emerging technologies, including AI, can enhance internal communications.
