Salary: £35,860-£39,897 (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

Are you a creative communications professional who loves turning ideas into engaging content? Do you enjoy finding great stories, creating compelling campaigns and using a mix of channels to keep colleagues informed, connected and engaged?
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Officer to join our Communications & Corporate Strategy team, helping us deliver clear, engaging and impactful communications to colleagues across A2Dominion.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll act as an internal journalist, content creator and communications adviser. You’ll create news and editorial content, support campaigns and colleague events, develop engaging visuals and multimedia, and work with teams across the organisation to bring their stories and messages to life.
You’ll also help us understand what works, using insight and feedback to continually improve how we communicate and engage with our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Internal Communications team to develop and deliver engaging internal communications plans, campaigns and projects
- Act as an internal journalist, identifying stories and producing engaging news, features, interviews and editorial content for colleagues
- Write, edit and proofread high-quality content for a range of audiences and internal channels, including intranet news and newsletters
- Manage day-to-day communications requests from teams across the organisation, providing advice and identifying the most effective approach
- Support the planning and delivery of colleague events, briefings and internal cascades
- Develop creative communications using a range of channels and formats including email, publications, video, digital content, campaigns and events
- Create engaging visuals, documents and multimedia content to support communications activity
- Research, maintain and publish accurate content across online and offline platforms
- Support email marketing activity, including the production and evaluation of communications
- Work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their objectives and translate them into clear, effective communications
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of internal communications, using insight to identify opportunities and develop new approaches
- Champion A2Dominion’s corporate identity and brand, helping colleagues use our brand consistently and effectively

More About You
- Experience working within a busy communications, PR or marketing environment, ideally within a large organisation
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences
- A proactive approach to finding and creating engaging content, including news, features and interviews
- Experience delivering communications projects and campaigns across a range of channels
- Creative design and desktop publishing skills, including experience using Canva, with Adobe Creative Suite knowledge desirable
- Strong digital communication skills, including email marketing and online/intranet content
- Experience measuring and evaluating communications activity
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to provide communications advice and support
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines
- Degree-level education and/or a relevant professional qualification in communications, marketing or PR would be desirable
