The Dispute Service (TDS) - Internal Communications Officer
The Dispute Service (TDS) is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Internal Communications Officer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys creating engaging content, building strong relationships across an organisation and helping colleagues feel connected to the company's purpose, strategy and achievements.
Working closely with our CEO, Executive Team and leaders across the business, you will play a key role in delivering clear, engaging and timely communications to more than 230 colleagues across the TDS Group.
📍 Hemel Hempstead (with occasional travel to other UK offices) 🏠 Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the office, 3 days from home 💼 Full-time, Permanent 💰 Salary: £38,000 per annum
About us
Established in 2003, TDS operates tenancy deposit protection schemes across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, alongside providing dispute resolution services. We also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service in 2022.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging internal communication plans and campaigns.
- Manage and maintain the organisation's internal communications calendar.
- Create and publish content across newsletters, intranet articles, email bulletins, presentations and office communications.
- Support senior leaders with communication planning and messaging.
- Translate complex information into clear, accessible and engaging communications.
- Coordinate company-wide town halls and colleague engagement activities.
- Use feedback and engagement data to continuously improve communications.
- Support PR activity, media materials, events and social media campaigns where required.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity you must:

- Have at least two years' experience in internal communications, corporate communications, PR, marketing, journalism or a related field.
- Showcase excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Be able to demonstrate experience creating engaging content across multiple communication channels.
- Have strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders.
- Have strong planning and project management capabilities.
