About the Company
Our client, an established public-sector heritage organisation, is seeking an Internal Communications Officer to support the delivery of its internal communications strategy.
About the Role
The role will help create a well-connected internal community by sharing clear, engaging information and encouraging meaningful conversation across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring organisational values to life, strengthen colleague engagement and support employees in contributing to the organisation’s objectives. Flexible working options may be considered, including job sharing, part-time working, compressed hours, and alternative working locations.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the organisation’s internal communications strategy.
- Create audience-focused content that informs, engages and inspires colleagues.
- Translate complex information into clear and accessible communications for a broad internal audience.
- Edit and publish digital content using intranet and content management systems.
- Use email marketing platforms to distribute internal communications.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners across the organisation to gather information and coordinate communications.
- Help communicate the organisation’s vision and values consistently and effectively.
- Encourage internal conversation and strengthen colleagues’ sense of connection and organisational pride.

Pay range and compensation package
- Salary: £33,855–£35,000 per annum
