Hybrid – Hatfield Head Office
Why Ocado Logistics?
At Ocado Logistics, we’re transforming the way the world shops. Through cutting-edge technology, rapid site expansion and exciting global partnerships, we support an outstanding customer experience for our partners and customers — every single day.
With over 16,000 colleagues across the UK, from delivery drivers and personal shoppers to engineers and corporate teams, how we communicate has never mattered more. Clear, engaging internal communications play a vital role in keeping our people connected to our purpose, priorities and each other.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Business Partner to join our Internal Communications team and play a key role in shaping how we engage our people across Ocado Logistics.
This is an exciting, high-impact role with a focus on hands-on communications delivery, reporting into the Head of Internal Communications. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the business to shape and deliver communications that truly land, engage, and connect colleagues - from frontline teams to head office - helping colleagues stay informed, inspired, and aligned with the business.
No two days will be the same. You’ll work across a broad range of topics, audiences and channels, balancing pace with quality in a complex operational environment. This is a role with visibility, autonomy and real influence - where you’ll help define “what good looks like” for internal communications, contribute to continuous improvement, and play an active part in strengthening engagement across the business.
We’re looking for someone passionate about internal communications - someone who genuinely cares about how messages land and understands the role communications plays in building clarity and connection.
You will have experience at either Business Partner, Specialist, or Officer level, advising stakeholders, contributing fresh ideas, and helping bring communications to life across the business. You will have experience working in frontline organisations such as retail, FMCG, aviation, manufacturing or similar organisations with a front-line population.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
