Become part of our team! You make the difference - YOUMAKEUS

As part of our great team here at DTFS, we have an exciting opportunity for an ICS and Quality Assurance Co-ordinator.

We’re looking for someone to be the central point of contact and compliance advisor within Daimler Truck Financial Services UK for all internal control and quality matters.

This role is perfect if you’d like to be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the end-to-end Internal Control System (ICS) cycle in line with group timelines, ensuring robust operational governance, and driving continuous process quality assurance across all business units.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Working in this role you will:

  • Act as the central point of contact for all ICS matters within the UK entity, coordinating stakeholders including management, assessors, reviewers, auditors, Corporate ICS, and IT ICS Multipliers.
  • Plan, maintain, and monitor the end-to-end ICS cycle in line with the mandatory ICS Campaign Calendar, translating group timelines into detailed local action plans.
  • Perform and oversee entity-level risk assessments, scoping exercises, formal coverage testing, and documentation using group alignment templates.
  • Define, coordinate, and monitor effectiveness testing activities, test plans, and sample sizes for all local business and IT controls.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of Initial, Final, and Year-End Self-Assessments, uploading all ratings and supporting documentation into ICoM.
  • Coordinate Control Framework Assessments (CFA) by validating scope, conducting tests, tracking remediation, and securing required management approvals.
  • Conduct systematic quality audits of credit underwriting, payout, and customer service files to ensure accuracy and regulatory policy compliance.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to ensure compliance while driving operational efficiency and standardisation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors to streamline the planning and execution of all local entity audits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
