The Opportunity
I'm currently supporting a well-established national training provider that specialises in Digital and IT Apprenticeships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced apprenticeship quality professional who enjoys developing trainers and assessors, driving consistency and ensuring learners receive an outstanding learning experience.
The Role
As an Internal Quality Assurer, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards across Digital apprenticeship programmes while supporting assessors and trainers to achieve excellent learner outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sampling learner portfolios, assessment decisions and feedback.
- Conducting quality reviews across apprenticeship delivery teams.
- Supporting trainers and assessors through coaching, mentoring and standardisation activities.
- Monitoring learner progress, quality and compliance across programmes.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing quality improvement actions.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
