Role Description

The Internal Recruiter at The Hyde Salons will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for roles across the salon from managers to technicians. The role is more than just recruitment with a wide range of opportunities to get involved with including:

  • Broader HR
  • Marketing (both social media and local level)
  • Setting up The Hyde College of Talent & Apprenticeship Scheme

The Internal Recruiter will source and attract candidates through screening applications, conducting initial interviews, coordinating trial days, and supporting hiring managers with structured interview processes and feedback. The role also includes building and maintaining a talent pipeline, updating job descriptions, and ensuring a positive candidate experience at every stage.

Additionally, the Internal Recruiter will collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, support onboarding of new team members, and maintain accurate recruitment metrics and records in line with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and team members, providing clear communication and timely updates.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple openings and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media platforms for talent attraction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and welcoming approach to candidates.
  • Knowledge of best practices in inclusive, non-discriminatory hiring and a commitment to equal opportunity.
  • Experience recruiting in hospitality, beauty, wellness, or customer-facing service environments is beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced salon environment, with flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend recruitment activities if needed.
  • Relevant education or training in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in an internal or agency recruitment role.
