Internal Recruiter
£15.56 per hour + holiday pay
Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm
Initially 2 months, with potential to extend
Hybrid working – 2–3 days from home once training is complete
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join an established team and support a busy recruitment campaign for a large call centre operation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced recruitment environment and is confident speaking with candidates, screening applications and keeping people moving through the recruitment process.
You’ll be dealing primarily with direct applicants, acting as their first point of contact and helping to identify suitable candidates for a range of call centre vacancies.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a high volume of applications from candidates who have applied directly
- Reviewing CVs and applications against agreed requirements
- Speaking with candidates over the phone to carry out initial screening
- Assessing experience, availability and suitability for the roles
- Explaining the role and recruitment process to candidates
- Arranging interviews with hiring managers
- Following up with candidates and keeping them updated throughout the process
- Maintaining accurate candidate records and updating the recruitment system
- Monitoring applications and helping to ensure vacancies are filled quickly
- Working closely with hiring managers and the wider recruitment team
- Helping to achieve recruitment and start-date targets
- Providing a professional and positive candidate experience from application through to offer

We’re looking for someone with previous internal recruitment, high-volume recruitment or resourcing experience who is comfortable working to targets and managing a busy workload.
You’ll need to be:
- Confident speaking to candidates over the phone
- Organised and able to manage multiple vacancies and applications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to make decisions quickly when screening candidates
- A strong communicator with a professional and friendly approach
- Experienced using recruitment systems and maintaining accurate records
- Focused on delivering a great candidate experience
