About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and driven Internal Recruiter to join our existing recruitment team to support candidate resourcing within Waterman Aspen. This role will focus on sourcing high-quality contract and permanent candidates across engineering and infrastructure disciplines, with a particular emphasis on the Highway & Civil Engineering sectors. You’ll play a key role in providing candidates and supporting hiring managers in securing the right people for a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract candidates for both contract and permanent roles across engineering disciplines
  • Deliver end-to-end candidate resourcing, from initial outreach through to shortlist submission
  • Use a variety of sourcing techniques including Boolean searches, job boards, LinkedIn and headhunting
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and project needs
  • Conduct initial interviews with candidates and assess suitability against requirements
  • Manage candidate relationships and provide a high-quality candidate experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within agency/consultancy recruitment
  • Strong understanding of Boolean searching and Job boards
  • Experience sourcing for contract or permanent roles
  • Confident in candidate engagement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with civil engineering sector
  • Experience with both contract and perm recruitment
