About The Role
We are partnering with a growing healthcare organisation in Birmingham to recruit an experienced Internal Recruiter. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruitment professional with a strong healthcare background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leading a small team.
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment function, managing a high volume of vacancies across a variety of healthcare and support functions whilst leading and developing two Recruitment Coordinators.
This role is fully site-based in Birmingham and requires a hands-on recruiter who can build strong stakeholder relationships, drive recruitment performance and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a high volume of vacancies
- Lead, coach and develop a team of two recruitment professionals
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and recruitment plans
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality healthcare talent
- Monitor recruitment KPIs and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safer recruitment practices and healthcare regulations
- Manage agency relationships and reduce recruitment spend where possible
- Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Support workforce planning and talent attraction initiatives

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- Previous internal recruitment experience within the healthcare sector (essential)
- Experience managing or mentoring recruitment team members
- Proven track record of handling high-volume recruitment campaigns
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology
- Knowledge of healthcare recruitment compliance and best practices
