The Cambian Group is one of the largest providers of specialist behavioral health services for children in the UK, supporting more than 2,900 individuals across 286 services. The organization works with over 140 public authorities and employs more than 7,200 staff, offering a wide range of care and support pathways. Cambian’s services span mental health rehabilitation, learning disabilities, education, acquired brain injury rehabilitation, impaired hearing, and children’s residential care and fostering. The group also provides specialized services for children experiencing sexual trauma. All work is guided by a shared purpose: to help each person in care achieve their personal best, as defined by them or for them.
Role Description
The Internal Recruiter role is a full-time, HYBRID 2 days home 3 days office position based in Gateshead. The Internal Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, and conducting initial interviews. The role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, advising on selection processes, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

- Maintain accurate recruitment records
- Support compliance with relevant employment regulations
- Contribute to workforce planning
- Build talent pipelines
- Coordinate onboarding activities

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition, including managing full-cycle hiring processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and operational teams.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), and standard office software.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on candidate care.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple vacancies and deadlines.
- Understanding of UK employment law, safeguarding principles, and safer recruitment practices in health or social care settings.
- Experience recruiting in healthcare, social care, education, or similar regulated environments is advantageous.

Salary
£28-£30,000 DOE OTE £35,250 including team incentive bonus
