6-Month Temporary Contract | £190 a day + holiday pay
London – City | Hybrid | 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Candidate Interviewing Specialist to join the Early Talent Recruitment team of a leading global organisation on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong recruitment and interviewing experience to play a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience across graduate, intern, and apprenticeship recruitment programmes.

Working as part of the Early Talent Recruitment Experience and Assessments Team, you will act as an Interviewing Subject Matter Expert, conducting a high volume of interviews while ensuring quality, consistency, and fairness throughout the assessment process.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey. This will involve conducting virtual and in-person interviews, supporting hiring managers, managing candidate queries, and helping ensure candidates progress efficiently through the recruitment process.

This is a fast-paced role that would suit someone who is confident interviewing at volume, highly organised, and passionate about delivering a first-class candidate experience.

Interviewing & Assessment

  • Conduct a high volume of virtual interviews during peak recruitment periods.
  • Assess and score candidates using the organisation's recruitment platform, providing accurate and comprehensive feedback.
  • Support in-person final interviews at the London office during peak periods.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to interviewing managers.
  • Support the Interview Coordinator with interview activity as required.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the virtual interview platform.
  • Troubleshoot common platform issues and support colleagues with technical queries.
  • Train and mentor new team members on the virtual interview platform.
  • Help candidates prepare for each stage of the recruitment process through digital helpdesk sessions, telephone calls, and other communication channels.
  • Communicate recruitment outcomes to candidates and provide verbal feedback where requested.

Candidate Management & Experience

  • Manage two busy candidate inboxes, responding promptly and professionally to queries.
  • Record and coordinate candidate interview adjustments, ensuring these are accurately implemented.
  • Support the management of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure candidates are progressed or withdrawn from the recruitment pipeline in a timely manner.
  • Maintain high standards of candidate communication and engagement throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and consistent candidate experience.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience within recruitment, early talent, talent acquisition, candidate experience, or HR, ideally with strong interviewing experience.

You will be:

  • Confident conducting a high volume of interviews in a professional environment.
  • Experienced in recruitment processes and ideally familiar with the UK Early Talent market.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicating with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working at pace and managing competing priorities.
  • Experienced using ATS and recruitment technology platforms.
  • Technically confident and able to troubleshoot common virtual interviewing issues.
  • Professional, approachable, and committed to delivering an excellent candidate experience.
  • Confident providing guidance and support to hiring managers and colleagues.
  • A strong team player who can work effectively in a busy, collaborative environment.

Working Pattern

  • Location: London – City
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Working arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote
  • Contract: 6 months
  • Start: ASAP
