Recruitment Officer

3-6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Buckinghamshire | Hybrid Working

I am partnering with a growing, innovative organisation to recruit a Recruitment Officer on a 3-6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, friendly and down-to-earth team during a period of continued growth. Working closely with hiring managers and the wider People team, you will play a key role in delivering a high-volume recruitment plan across a variety of operational functions.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working at pace, thrives in a collaborative environment and has previous experience managing recruitment processes from application through to offer stage.

The Role

As Recruitment Officer, you will support end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of operational and volume hiring requirements, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing high-volume recruitment campaigns across operational functions
  • Screening and shortlisting applications
  • Conducting telephone screening interviews
  • Coordinating assessment days and recruitment events
  • Arranging interviews and managing hiring manager diaries
  • Acting as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Managing candidate communications and providing a positive candidate experience
  • Maintaining accurate records within the ATS and ensuring all recruitment administration is completed efficiently
  • Supporting recruitment compliance and right-to-work processes
  • Assisting the wider People and Talent team with recruitment projects and ad hoc activities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
