Internal Sales / Account Manager (Construction & Building Materials)

£30,000 - £35,000 + 10% bonus + training + development + BUPA healthcare + benefits + 4 Days WFH a month after probation

Certain Advantage is hiring for an Internal Sales Account Manager to join a highly successful, growing SME supplying advanced materials and products into civil engineering and construction markets.

This role is on a permanent basis and is based at their purpose-built facilities in the Hinckley & Bosworth area.

Do you have a background in internal sales or account management professional, with experience building strong relationships with contractors, civil engineers, and merchants?

Do you want a supportive, structured environment where you will work with a range of existing customers, looking to drive ongoing sales and continually improve relationships in a varied role, with full technical training provided to ensure you succeed?

The Company:

We’re working with a well-established, dynamic business, manufacturing and supplying a range of advanced materials and products into civil engineering and construction markets. This is a highly reputable SME, which has recently moved into purpose-built facilities, offering a role which enables development, in a collaborative, friendly and vibrant culture.

The Role:

This role is for someone with account management, customer service or internal sales experience, within the construction or civil engineering industries.

  • You’ll be part of a dynamic and growing internal sales team, where full product and role training will be provided, to ensure you can excel.
  • Take incoming enquiries from clients, send out quotations and diligently follow up to convert to orders
  • Provide technical assistance to clients on the company’s product range (full training provided)
  • Provide a 3-monthly sales forecast
  • Build long-term relationships with existing clients
  • Follow up with lapsed clients

The Individual:

We’re looking for people who can show:

  • Any account management, customer service or sales experience
  • Ideally experience working with civil engineering consultants or contractors
  • Background in Construction or Civil Engineering
