DGF Electrical Wholesalers Ltd is an established electrical wholesaler based in Warrington, Cheshire, proudly serving trade and commercial customers. Founded in 1995, the company has consistently provided reliable products and dependable service for over 25 years. As a member of the AIEW buying group, DGF benefits from strong supplier relationships and access to a wide range of quality electrical goods. The team is committed to maintaining long-term customer partnerships and continuing its growth in the local and regional market.

Role Description

The Internal Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based at our branch in Warrington. The Internal Sales team member will handle incoming sales enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders, and provide product information to customers via phone, email, and in person at the trade counter.

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Following up on leads
  • Supporting external sales activity
  • Ensuring accurate pricing and availability information
  • Coordinating with suppliers
  • Updating the internal system (sage) with customer and product data
  • Working closely with colleagues to meet sales targets and deliver a high standard of service

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with trade customers and colleagues.
  • Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to convert enquiries into orders and support the achievement of branch targets.
  • Candidates should possess Training and coaching abilities to share product knowledge and support the development of team members.
  • Candidates should have good knowledge of electrical products or a willingness to learn, with experience in wholesale, distribution, or a similar environment considered an advantage.
  • Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with basic IT systems, attention to detail in order processing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
  • Candidates should ideally have previous internal sales or trade counter experience; relevant vocational qualifications or industry training are beneficial.
