Internal Sales Executive

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Internal Sales team at Doorways. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about sales and customer service who is eager to develop their career within a leading Northern Ireland business.

Doorways is a specialist division of MacNaughton Blair and a trusted supplier of doors, architectural ironmongery, access control systems, and door automation solutions. With a strong reputation built on quality products, expert advice, and exceptional customer service, Doorways supports both trade and retail customers across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound telephone sales calls to customers.
  • Prepare pricing and quotations according to specification (training provided).
  • Provide administrative support for the estimating team.
  • Process and check order intake and order acknowledgements.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Provide back-up support to the external sales team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised work environment.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the General Manager.

About You:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident and professional approach to handling customer enquiries.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, client relations, or retail is preferred.
  • Experience with doors and ironmongery products is an advantage, but not essential.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
