Internal Sales Administrator

Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment? Do you thrive on delivering exceptional support, managing multiple priorities, and helping teams achieve their goals?

We're looking for a Sales Administrator to join our Aggregates & Asphalt commercial team, providing vital support that enables our Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), Internal Sales Representatives (ISRs), and Commercial Managers to deliver outstanding customer service and commercial performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their commercial career while playing a key role in driving business growth and operational excellence.

About The Role

As a Sales Administrator, you will be at the heart of our commercial operation, acting as the central coordination point for customer administration, quotations, pricing, reporting, contracts and commercial processes.

Working closely with our sales teams, you will ensure customer information is managed accurately and efficiently, commercial systems are maintained, and reporting insights support the delivery of regional sales and margin targets.

Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction, business performance and the success of our commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide administrative support across the Aggregates and Asphalt commercial teams.
  • Produce and maintain customer quotations in line with pricing and margin guidelines.
  • Support TSMs and ISRs with customer contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Assist Area Commercial Managers in preparing customer reviews, sales meetings and business development activities.
  • Maintain accurate customer information within CRM and commercial systems.
  • Monitor quotation conversion rates, won/lost business reports and lapsed customer opportunities.
  • Ensure customer pricing and sales information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Support customer onboarding, account set-up and regional cash sales activities.
  • Produce regular commercial performance reports and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and commercial visibility.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Confidence working with data, systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting colleagues and customers.
  • Experience within a commercial, sales, customer service or administrative environment (preferred).
