Are you highly organised, detail-focused and passionate about delivering exceptional support to customers and colleagues?

We're looking for a Sales Administrator to join our Aggregates & Asphalt team, playing a pivotal role in supporting commercial performance across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple activities to help drive sales growth, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Working closely with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), Internal Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Area Commercial Managers, you'll be the central point of coordination for commercial administration, ensuring customer information, pricing, quotations and reporting are managed accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

As Sales Administrator, you will:

  • Provide administrative support across our Aggregates and Asphalt commercial teams.
  • Produce and maintain customer quotations in line with pricing and margin guidelines.
  • Support TSMs and ISRs with the management and maintenance of customer contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Assist Area Commercial Managers with customer reviews, sales meetings and business development activities.
  • Maintain CRM systems and customer databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor quotation conversion rates, won/lost opportunities and lapsed customer activity, providing valuable insights to support follow-up actions.
  • Ensure customer sales information and pricing data is accurately maintained within company systems.
  • Support customer onboarding and account setup activities, including regional cash sales administration.
  • Produce regular commercial performance reports and sales analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and enhance reporting visibility and efficiency.
  • Act as a key link between customers, sales teams and wider business functions to support excellent service delivery.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to support a busy commercial team.
  • Confidence using systems, data and reports to support business decisions.

Experience

  • Experience working within a commercial, sales or customer service environment is desirable.
  • Previous experience supporting sales teams or managing commercial administration activities would be advantageous.
