About The Role

The Internal Sales Administrator position in Tewkesbury is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary between £28,000 and £30,000 per annum. Based in the office, working hours are Monday to Friday, supporting a growing engineering manufacturer. The successful candidate will assist the Account Management function, processing customer orders accurately from receipt through to delivery. Job Description

Join a market-leading engineering manufacturer in Tewkesbury and become a key part of the Commercial team. We're looking for an organised and proactive Internal Sales Administrator to support the Account Management function by ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from order receipt through to delivery. Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain and Production teams, you'll play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring accurate order management and providing the administrative backbone that keeps the business running smoothly. Role And Responsibilities

  • Process and validate customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain order information across Salesforce CRM and internal business systems
  • Ensure Sales, Supply Chain and Production teams have accurate and up-to-date order information
  • Support Account Managers with order queries and customer administration
  • Produce regular order status reports and track key order milestones
  • Identify and escalate pricing discrepancies, stock shortages, lead time concerns and delivery risks
  • Maintain accurate audit trails, customer correspondence and order records
  • Liaise with Planning, Production and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and maintain delivery performance
  • Support quotation administration and general commercial activities when required
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and compliance across all order processing activities

About You

  • Previous experience within Sales Administration, Order Processing or Customer Service
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment
  • Experience managing high-volume order processing and data entry
  • Experience using CRM, ERP or MRP systems
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables or similar
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
  • Able to prioritise workload and remain accurate in a fast-paced environment
  • Salesforce experience would be advantageous
  • Exposure to defence, aerospace or advanced engineering sectors would be beneficial
  • Experience supporting quotations, pricing or commercial administration desirable
  • Ambitious and eager to develop towards an Account Management career
