Location: Wigan or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £30,000 - £32,000 and full benefits package
The Role
The role of the Technical Sales Advisor Construction Products & Building Supplies will involve:
- Internally based technical sales advisor position selling a distributed range of construction products such as: concrete repair, waterproofing, screeding, joint filling, grouts & anchors, sealants, protective coating, etc.
- The majority of your time will be spent selling to builders merchants such as: Keyline, Travis Perkins, Buildbase, and Jewson.
- The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors, and specialist contractors.
- Inheriting circa 115-20 spending accounts that need day-to-day management.
- Other responsibilities include supporting in the warehouse when needed.
- Expected to generate new business, predominantly with existing accounts.

Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Advisor Construction Products & Building Supplies with:
- Currently in an internal sales, trade counter, or customer service role in the building trade.
- Working within merchants/distributors such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Keyline, Buildbase, Selco, etc., as a trade counter salesperson.
- Strong account management skills.
- Ability to build relationships and break down doors.
- Enthusiastic, professional, organized, and driven.
