Internal Sales – Catering & Hygiene
📍 Inverness | Full-Time
Love the catering or hospitality industry, but ready for a change from the long and antisocial hours?
We’re looking for someone with a catering or hospitality background to join our Catering & Hygiene team at MacGregor Industrial Supplies.
This could be an ideal next step if you’ve worked in a hotel, restaurant, commercial kitchen, catering operation or hospitality environment and want to use your industry knowledge in a different way — moving into a customer-focused sales career with more regular working hours.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Internal Sales team, you’ll use your understanding of the catering and hospitality sector to help customers find the right products and solutions. Your role will include:

- Speaking with customers by phone, email and in person
- Understanding their requirements and recommending appropriate products
- Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities
- Processing orders accurately and efficiently
- Building relationships with existing customers
- Proactively identifying opportunities to grow sales
- Developing new business within the Catering & Hygiene market
- Working closely with our Category and External Sales teams
- Learning and developing your knowledge across our extensive product range
Who we’re looking for
You don’t necessarily need previous sales experience. What’s more important is that you have hands-on experience within catering or hospitality and understand the demands our customers face.
