We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Coordinator to support the successful management of designated customer accounts and the efficient processing of sales enquiries and orders.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with customers and suppliers, coordinating sales activity and ensuring customer requirements are delivered accurately, efficiently and professionally.
You will play a key role in managing customer enquiries and orders, sourcing non-stock materials, coordinating delivery requirements and providing a high level of customer service across the sales process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing designated customer accounts and developing strong, long-term relationships.
- Coordinating and responding to customer sales enquiries.
- Processing customer enquiries, quotations and orders accurately and efficiently.
- Sourcing and procuring non-stock materials to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinating material availability and delivery requirements to meet customer deadlines.
- Managing and achieving materials delivery and process deadlines.
- Resolving customer problems and queries efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Carrying out quotation follow-ups with customers as required.
- Maintaining accurate records and files relating to customer orders and communications.
- Supporting business development through visits to designated customers when required.
- Undertaking general administrative and sales support duties as required.
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with company quality assurance procedures and departmental work instructions.
- Contributing to continuous improvements in the quality and efficiency of departmental activities.
- Completing relevant supplier-led training and developing knowledge of the company's product ranges.
- Carrying out all duties safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety, environmental and operational procedures.

What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in an Internal Sales role, ideally within the Oil, Gas or Petrochemical industries.
- Good technical knowledge of relevant product ranges; ongoing training will be provided.
- A highly organised, detail-focused and analytical approach to work.
- A proactive, self-motivated and service-oriented attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
- The ability to remain calm, professional and effective when working under pressure.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Good commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines effectively.
- Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office packages.
