About Grant Instruments

Grant Instruments designs and manufactures precision laboratory equipment for the life sciences sector, with manufacturing operations in the UK and Latvia. Our instruments support scientists and researchers across the globe, and our commercial team is the engine that connects that engineering excellence to the customers who rely on it every day.

The Role

This is a pivotal, customer-facing role at the heart of our commercial operation. As Internal Sales Coordinator, you will be the vital link between Grant Instruments and both our existing customer base and new prospects - driving revenue, nurturing key relationships, and ensuring every customer enquiry is handled with speed, accuracy and care. You will combine proactive outreach with hands-on account management and order processing, making you central to how customers experience our business day to day.

This role suits someone who thrives on variety, enjoys building relationships over the phone and email, and takes pride in getting the details right - from the first enquiry through to a confirmed order.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Customer Outreach

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to existing and prospective customers to generate and develop sales opportunities
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Support wider sales and marketing campaigns with targeted follow-up activity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
