Vital Group Overview

Vital Group is one of the fastest growing providers of critical power support solutions and EV charging infrastructure in the UK. Our vision is to become the most trusted turnkey solutions partner within our respective markets, and we will do this by re-setting customer service benchmarks and transforming customer expectations with honesty, integrity, and passion.

Our work is delivered by a team of well trained, equipped, and motivated Engineers, supported by a 24/7/365 Operations capability, and led by a diversely skilled Leadership Team.

Vital Group expects all its employees to act as ‘co-owners’ of the business, and to always put safety first, followed closely by customer satisfaction and commercial success. Our values are ones that promote the best behaviour and team ethics, and we believe that this requirement will drive profitable growth and make Vital Group a fantastic place to build a career.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (30-minute lunch). The role will be based at our Telford depot five days per week. The role may require a degree of flexibility outside of these hours, where necessary, to meet the operational requirements of the business and ensure the effective delivery of the role.

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and commercially focused Internal Sales Coordinator to join the team and take ownership of the day-to-day sales of our standard power products.

This is a hands-on sales role, responsible for picking up and progressing live sales opportunities, proactively generating new business, managing customer enquiries, and converting opportunities into completed orders.

The role will also have responsibility for coordinating the availability and movement of sold stock, ensuring products are prepared and transported to customers efficiently and that the customer journey is managed from initial enquiry through to delivery.

The successful candidate will be confident speaking with customers and prospects, comfortable making proactive outbound calls, and highly organised in managing multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Take ownership of live sales opportunities, responding promptly to enquiries received through telephone, email, website and other sales channels, and proactively following up customers and prospects to progress opportunities through quotation, negotiation and order.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales process, taking ownership of agreed next steps and progressing opportunities through to conclusion.
  • Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outbound telephone calls, email, LinkedIn, prospecting tools, and other appropriate sales channels.
  • Regularly review prospecting platforms and tools to identify businesses visiting our website, research and qualify relevant leads, and proactively contact them to introduce our products and generate sales opportunities.
  • Maintain a consistent level of outbound sales activity and convert new prospects into genuine sales opportunities and customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Achieve agreed sales revenue, order, pipeline, conversion and activity targets.
  • Take responsibility for the management and availability of standard product stock, ensuring stock levels, locations and movements are accurately recorded.
  • Coordinate the inbound supply of standard products, including monitoring incoming stock, liaising with suppliers and freight partners, and supporting customs clearance and associated documentation to ensure products are received efficiently and on time.
  • Manage the sale and fulfilment of standard EV chargers as part of the product collection, including responding to enquiries, preparing quotations, securing orders and coordinating stock and delivery.
  • Arrange transport and deliveries for sold stock, liaising with transport providers, customers and internal teams to ensure deliveries are organised efficiently and on time.
  • Keep customers informed of delivery arrangements and any changes to agreed timescales.
  • Support the smooth movement of stock from point of sale through to customer delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, customer interactions, quotations, orders and follow-up activity within the relevant systems.
  • Ensure every active opportunity has clear notes, next actions and follow-up dates.
  • Produce and maintain regular sales reporting covering enquiries, opportunities, quotations, orders, revenue, pipeline and customer activity.
  • Regularly review the sales pipeline with the Line Manager, identifying opportunities requiring further action and ensuring agreed actions are followed through.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Finance and other internal teams to support the successful conversion and fulfilment of customer orders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
