THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Co-ordinator at our offices in Melbur, Fraddon; working in our Building materials division. Reporting directly to the Internal Sales & Shipping Manager you will be responsible for pricing incoming/outbound enquiries and following up to secure new orders. You will be maximising existing customers/new business relationships, alongside achieving KPIs in relation to the number of pro-active calls and other points of contact promoting the company's product range.

As the successful Internal Sales Co-ordinator, working alongside the Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing business including new business development prospects.

On a day-to-day basis, duties and responsibilities for the Internal Sales Co-ordinator will include (not exhaustive):

  • Main point of contact for actioning customer enquiries
  • Providing customers with pricing in an efficient and timely manner, in line with company pricing procedures
  • Proactively chasing pipeline of open quotations to obtain feedback/Glenigan lead prospecting.
  • Converting enquiries into orders, maximising profitability within approved pricing levels, upselling and identifying value add opportunities
  • Making regular contact with stockists to ensure consistent supply for existing/new business.
  • Keeping up to date with product ranges, developing in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, fully enhancing your contribution and ability to support customers
  • Ensuring customer records/systems are continually updated and accurate.
  • Keeping all systems and processes compliant with the relevant company and statutory requirements and guidelines

The ideal Internal Sales Co-ordinator will have a proven track record in selling, negotiating and converting whilst demonstrating:

What We Are Looking For

An organised, self-motivated, and results-driven individual seeking an exciting opportunity to grow within a sales-focused role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Netsuite systems. - desirable.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of the business world would be an advantage.
  • Good computer skills are essential, Microsoft office, Excel

Full training will be given.
