Role: Internal Sales Engineer
Location: Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week (Office Based)
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Internal Sales Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for customer engagement and solution selling. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in driving business growth within a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as a central point of contact for commercial and technical enquiries, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to order processing.
- Manage enquiries and prepare quotations aligned to customer requirements.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers.
- Process orders and maintain CRM records of opportunities and interactions.
- Develop key accounts to increase enquiries and sales.
- Ensure margins meet company expectations and review customer terms.
- Collaborate with external sales to share leads and opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
- Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a technical or internal sales role within an industrial environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach.
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- (Desirable) Valve, flow control, oil & gas or manufacturing experience.

What’s On Offer?

- Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience) + Discretionary bonus.
