Internal Sales Engineer
Permanent
Cirencester
£30,000 - £40,000 + OTE
Internal Sales Engineer required by a growing manufacturing company, based in Cirencester. The successful Technical Sales Engineer will join a busy technical sales team, supporting customers and sales colleagues across a designated geographical area. This role combines customer service, sales administration, and technical support, helping to deliver an outstanding customer experience while identifying opportunities for business growth.
Main Duties: Internal Sales Engineer
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, quotations, and orders.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service.
- Prepare and follow up quotations.
- Support Area Sales Managers with day-to-day account management.
- Resolve customer queries and coordinate with internal teams.
- Identify sales opportunities and promote products and services.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Assist with customer visits, exhibitions, and product presentations.
- Provide technical and commercial support as required.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- A background in technical sales, sales support, customer service, or engineering support or equivalent role.
- A relevant technical qualification (ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent) desirable.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Commercially aware and customer focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
