About PATLITE UK

PATLITE UK is a leading supplier of visual and audible signalling solutions, helping businesses improve safety, communication, and operational efficiency across industrial and commercial environments.

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Internal Sales Executive to join our UK sales and marketing team. This is a predominantly outbound sales role, focused on generating new business, developing existing accounts, and proactively creating sales opportunities across the UK.

The successful candidate will be confident picking up the phone, speaking with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities, and building long-term commercial relationships.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for proactively generating sales rather than simply responding to inbound enquiries.

You will spend most of your time contacting prospective and existing customers by telephone and email, developing relationships, identifying requirements, promoting PATLITE solutions, and progressing opportunities through to order.

You will work closely with the sales team and wider PATLITE business to target key accounts, develop new markets, and maximise sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK.
  • Research target companies, industries, and potential customers to create new sales opportunities.
  • Contact dormant and existing accounts to identify new projects and requirements.
  • Develop relationships with OEMs, Ecommerce, distributors, system integrators, and end users.
  • Qualify prospects and understand their applications, challenges, and purchasing requirements.
  • Introduce customers to relevant PATLITE products and solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the PATLITE product portfolio.
  • Follow up quotations, enquiries, leads, and marketing campaigns proactively.
  • Develop opportunities from initial contact through to quotation and order.
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline within the CRM system.
  • Record all sales activity, customer conversations, opportunities, and follow-ups accurately using CRM systems.
  • Work closely with external sales colleagues to arrange appointments and hand over qualified opportunities.
  • Support the development of strategic accounts and target markets.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify emerging customer and market opportunities.
  • Provide monthly reports on outbound activity, opportunities, pipeline development, and sales performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
