Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and converting opportunities into business? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading European manufacturing company for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join their growing team based in Ellesmere Port. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established business, managing marketing-generated leads, supporting key accounts, and helping drive sales growth.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in converting inbound and marketing-generated leads into appointments, enquiries, and revenue. Working closely with the field sales, telesales, marketing, and sales support teams, you'll ensure opportunities are followed up effectively while maintaining an accurate sales pipeline within the CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up existing leads and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Qualify and convert marketing-generated and inbound enquiries into appointments.
  • Arrange appointments for the field sales team and manage diaries effectively.
  • Re-engage lost and lapsed customers to generate new opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers across a range of industries.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
  • Support the growth of national and key accounts.
  • Work closely with sales support to ensure timely quotations and customer information.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and prospecting initiatives to generate new business.
  • Keep the sales pipeline updated, ensuring opportunities are managed.

About You

  • An experienced Internal Sales Executive with a proven track record in B2B sales.
  • Confident on the phone with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experienced in using CRM systems to manage leads and sales pipelines.
  • Organised, proactive and motivated to achieve results.
  • Comfortable engaging with decision-makers at all levels.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, driven attitude.
