Role Description

The Internal Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Gateshead. The role involves handling inbound and outbound sales calls, preparing and following up on quotations, and converting enquiries into orders. The Internal Sales Executive will maintain regular contact with existing customers, provide product information and technical support, and ensure a high standard of customer service. Day-to-day tasks include identifying sales opportunities, supporting lead generation activities, and collaborating with depots and the wider sales team to meet sales targets and ensure timely deliveries. The role also includes working closely with suppliers to obtain pricing and product details, while upholding Bluebay’s standards of professional communication and service.

  • Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Quotations skills, including experience converting enquiries into orders and preparing accurate proposals.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide clear, professional support to customers and colleagues.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including identifying new opportunities, following up on prospects, and supporting the growth of the customer base.
  • Candidates should possess sound IT and administrative skills, including experience with systems, order processing, and basic MS Office tools.
  • Previous experience in construction, civil engineering, or building products sales is beneficial, along with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
