Job Description

About us

Chorley Concrete is a family-run business and one of the North West's largest independent suppliers of volumetric concrete. We've built our name on quality, reliability and looking after our customers, and we're proud to be one of the highest-rated and most-reviewed concrete suppliers in the area, with over 157 five-star reviews and counting (nearly 200 across the group). That reputation, along with our continued expansion, means we're now looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our office team and help drive the next stage of our growth.

The role

This is a brand-new, office-based role at our Appley Bridge depot, working closely with the sales team. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, handling incoming enquiries and making outbound calls to win and grow business. It's a busy, varied role that would suit someone who enjoys talking to people, thrives on hitting targets and wants to build a career in sales.

Full training will be given on all our systems, so you don't need to know the concrete trade to apply. If you've got the right attitude, we'll teach you the rest.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
