Internal Sales Executive

Location: New Milton, Hampshire
Salary: £28k - £30k + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated Internal Sales Executive who enjoys speaking with customers and building relationships over the telephone.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of high-quality commercial washroom systems, serving customers across the UK.

You'll play a key role in following up quotations, developing existing opportunities and helping convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

Working closely with the Sales Estimating team, you'll proactively contact customers to discuss live quotations, understand project timescales and help maximise every sales opportunity.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a positive personality, strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for sales and customer service.

  • Proactively following up quotations issued by the Sales Estimating team
  • Contacting contractors, distributors and commercial customers to discuss live enquiries
  • Building long-term customer relationships and identifying opportunities to win additional business
  • Re-engaging previous customers and dormant accounts
  • Understanding customer requirements, project timescales and purchasing decisions
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process
  • Maintaining accurate quotation records and sales activity using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Working closely with the estimating and sales teams to maximise quotation conversion
  • Assisting with general business development activities
  • Achieving agreed sales and activity targets

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in internal sales, telesales, business development, sales support or account management
  • Is confident and professional on the telephone
  • Enjoys building relationships and following up sales opportunities
  • Has excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Is organised with strong attention to detail
  • Can prioritise and manage multiple quotations and customer enquiries
  • Is self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience within manufacturing, construction products or building materials would be advantageous but is not essential
