Internal Sales Executive (Construction / Building Merchants)

£30,000 - £35,000 (OTE £45,000) + Company Benefits + Progression + Company Bonus + Monday - Friday

Camden - Office Based

Are you an Internal Sales Executive or Account Manager from a construction, building merchants or similar product-based industry looking to join a growing global business, where you will manage key customer accounts, work on major projects and increase your earnings through a company bonus?

This global cable supplier provides power, data and control cable solutions to industries including rail, mining, renewables, oil and gas, construction and infrastructure. Operating in over 120 countries worldwide, the business generates a turnover exceeding £200 million and is recognised for its technical expertise, quality assurance and project support.

In this role, you will join the End User Team, managing customer enquiries and accounts from initial enquiry through to delivery. You will prepare quotations, provide product information and technical submissions, build strong customer relationships and work closely with internal teams to ensure orders and projects are delivered successfully. You will also have the opportunity to identify new sales opportunities and grow existing accounts.

This role would suit someone from an internal sales, sales support or account management background who has experience selling physical products, particularly within construction, building materials, electrical products, cables, manufacturing or a similar industry.

The Role:

  • Manage and develop customer accounts
  • Handle customer enquiries and prepare quotations
  • Provide product information and technical submissions
  • Support orders and projects from enquiry through to delivery
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

The Person:

  • Experience in Internal Sales, Sales Support, Account Management or similar
  • Experience selling physical products within construction, building merchants, electrical, manufacturing or a similar industry
  • Confident preparing quotations and dealing with customer enquiries
  • Commutable to Camden Town
