The Role
The role of the Internal Sales Executive - Timber and Construction Products will involve:
- Internal Sales Executive position, selling a manufactured range of timber and construction products such as: fencing, sleepers, pallets, material packaging and renewable wooden energy pellets.
- Selling into builders merchants, timber merchants and buying groups
- Most of your time will be spent dealing with an existing customer base, conducting repeat sales and maintaining relationships alongside the area sales manager
- Liaising with and supporting the external sales team, helping them to generate new sales opportunities, increasing sales within their territory
- Processing orders & dealing with enquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Carrying out admin responsibilities such as logging all relevant customer information on the internal CRM system

Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive Timber and Construction Products with:
- Must have experience in sales role within the construction sector
- Experience within the timber market sector is preferred however not essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Great relationship builder/ account development skills
