Role Description

The Internal Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Salford. This position involves generating and qualifying leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, and supporting customers with product information. Management of inbound sales inquiries, preparing and issuing quotations, and following up to convert opportunities into orders.

The Internal Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the external sales and technical teams to ensure customers receive timely, informed responses and a high level of service. This role is a key part in the sales process.

This role split is approx:

  • 50% New Business Development
  • 25% Existing Account Growth
  • 25% Customer Support

Skills Required

  • Strong Lead Generation skills, including identifying new opportunities and nurturing prospects is essential, 50% of this role is developing new business.
  • Possess strong Inside Sales experience, including managing inquiries and supporting the sales pipeline.
  • Skilled in preparing and managing Quotations, with attention to accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Relevant experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or technical product sales is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office, and basic data entry is required.
  • A proactive, organized approach and the ability to work effectively in a sales environment are essential.

You enjoy working as part of a team and are driven by building successful business relationships with both colleagues and customers. Someone who enjoys uncovering opportunities and creating pipeline rather than simply reacting to inbound enquiries. With a strong work ethic, desire to succeed and willingness to learn you will be motivated by the opportunity to learn more about an exciting industry sector that is continually developing.

  • Salary OTE £40k
  • 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays & Christmas Shutdown
  • Working Hours: 9am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 9am-4pm Friday.
