Internal Sales Manager Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Manager to join a growing electronics business based in Catterick, North Yorkshire. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader looking to drive business growth, develop a high-performing internal sales team, and play a key role in implementing new CRM, ERP, and sales processes. You'll work closely with customers and cross-functional teams while helping shape the future commercial strategy of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop the Internal Sales team to achieve business objectives and KPIs.
  • Drive new business activity through customer research, lead generation and proactive follow-up.
  • Manage high-value quotations and ensure proposals are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Build strong relationships with Procurement, Operations, Customer Service and External Sales teams.
  • Support the implementation and development of CRM and ERP systems to improve sales performance.
  • Analyse sales data and report on team performance to senior management.
  • Attend customer meetings and industry exhibitions to support business development.
  • Help develop pricing strategies, improve sales processes and reactivate dormant customer accounts.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience leading an Internal Sales or Sales Support team.
  • Strong background in B2B sales, account management or customer service.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with experience improving sales processes.
  • Experience within electronics, engineering or technical products would be advantageous but is not essential.
