Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000 basic + Bonus + Benefits
Streamline Search is working with an established and highly regarded large-format print and visual communications business that is looking to appoint an ambitious Internal Sales / New Business Executive.
Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality print and visual communication solutions to a broad range of commercial customers across the UK.
The business offers an end-to-end service, supporting customers from initial concept and technical consultation through to production, finishing and installation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys prospecting, opening doors and developing new customer relationships.
The role will initially be predominantly office-based, focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities through proactive outbound activity.
There is genuine scope for the successful candidate to develop into a more senior Business Development position over time, taking greater ownership of customer meetings, account development and the full sales cycle.

- £35,000 basic salary

The Role

This is a genuine new-business role and would suit someone who enjoys picking up the phone, speaking with decision-makers, qualifying opportunities and building a strong pipeline.
Initially, the focus will be on prospecting, lead generation and developing relationships from first contact. For larger opportunities, you will work closely with senior commercial colleagues who can support with client meetings, technical discussions, proposals and closing.
As you develop your knowledge and customer base, there will be scope to take greater ownership of the complete sales cycle and progress into a Business Development Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
- Making proactive outbound calls to prospective customers
- Identifying and targeting businesses with potential large-format print and visual communication requirements
- Building relationships with key decision-makers
- Generating and qualifying new business opportunities
- Developing opportunities through telephone, email and LinkedIn outreach
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Booking customer meetings for yourself and senior commercial colleagues
- Following up quotations, proposals and live opportunities
- Working closely with senior management to progress and close larger opportunities
- Approaching marketing teams, agencies, retailers, contractors, event businesses and other relevant organisations
- Understanding customer requirements and introducing suitable solutions
- Keeping CRM and pipeline information accurate and up to date
- Re-engaging previous customers and dormant accounts
- Identifying opportunities across new sectors and markets
- Converting prospects into profitable, long-term customers
- Achieving agreed activity, new-business and revenue targets

The Candidate
We are looking for an ambitious, confident and commercially driven sales professional who genuinely enjoys new-business development.
You do not necessarily need to have worked within large-format print previously, although experience within print, manufacturing, signage, packaging, marketing services or another B2B environment would be advantageous.
The Successful Candidate Will Ideally Have
- Previous B2B sales, internal sales, telesales or business development experience
- A genuine appetite for winning new business
- Confidence making outbound calls and approaching new organisations
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport
- A proactive and resilient approach to sales
- Commercial awareness and the confidence to discuss customer requirements
- Strong follow-up and organisational skills
- A target-driven mindset
- The ability to work independently while also taking guidance from senior colleagues
- A desire to develop into a more senior Business Development position
This role could suit an experienced Internal Sales Executive, New Business Executive, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive or an ambitious Account Manager looking to move into a more proactive new-business position.
