Role Description

This full-time, on-site Internal Sales Representative role is based in Cardiff. The position involves:

  • Handling inbound and outbound sales calls
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Preparing quotations for automation, process, and control equipment
  • Managing and growing existing accounts
  • Supporting lead follow-up from marketing activities
  • Identifying new sales opportunities

Daily tasks include:

  • Coordinating with technical and logistics teams to ensure product availability
  • Contributing to customer satisfaction through prompt, professional service
  • Working closely with colleagues to meet sales targets and support overall business growth

Qualifications

  • Strong Inside Sales skills, including handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and closing orders
  • Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations
  • Lead Generation and Account Management experience to grow new and existing business
  • Good communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Comfort with CRM systems and basic MS Office tools for tracking activities and preparing documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and manage time effectively
  • Background or interest in electrical, HVAC, or technical distribution is beneficial
  • Prior experience in B2B sales or a similar commercial role is an advantage
