The opportunity

This is a brilliant first step into a sales career, with a business that's been growing for decades and supplies customers all over the world. Established in 1985 and headquartered in Greater Manchester, our client leads the field in the global supply of decorative products. Operating from the UK and Canada, they supply leading products to 80 countries worldwide, their goal is to provide the very best products, supported by the most knowledgeable team in the market.

You'll join a friendly internal sales team, helping existing customers get more from our client's products and reaching out to new ones. It's all about building relationships, understanding what customers need and finding the right solutions. You don't need any sales experience. You'll get full training, one-to-one coaching and plenty of support to help you grow your skills and your career.

What you'll do

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and really understand their business and challenges
  • Grow existing accounts by spotting opportunities to introduce additional products and services
  • Create quotes by listening carefully and asking the right questions to understand each customer's needs
  • Keep the CRM up to date with your activity and forecasts
  • Reach out to prospective customers by phone, email and LinkedIn to introduce our client's solutions
  • Take a consultative approach, listening closely to customer challenges and opportunities
  • Hold regular check-ins and account reviews with customers
