Job Description:
As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting network of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.
Are you a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships and driving growth?
We’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Harlow and play an important role in front-line selling, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
About the Role:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, using your sales skills, clear communication, and proactive approach to drive sales conversions. You will work closely with customers and suppliers, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, maximizing component and solution opportunities through direct engagement and personalized selling
- Proactively follow up on quotes, gather and respond to competitive information
- Negotiate and close sales to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Develop and execute strategic sales approaches to gain market share in key segments
- Identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell relevant products and services
- Address customer challenges such as part obsolescence, new product introductions, and supply shortages with tailored solutions

Customer and Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including Account Management and Field Application Engineer team, to maximize selling opportunities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute quote strategies to maximize conversion rates and profitability
- Utilize proprietary quote analytics and automation tools to enhance efficiency
- Track and analyze sales performance, providing insights to improve sales approaches
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools like Salesforce
Campaigns & Market Expansion:
- Drive and follow through on targeted selling campaigns to boost customer engagement and sales conversions
- Communicate and confirm acceptance of all price increases
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales tactics
- Participate in sales training and continuous learning to improve selling skills and product knowledge

What We’re Looking For:
- Business fluency in English
- Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role in electronic component distribution
- A proactive and persistent approach to sales execution
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and PowerBI is a plus
