Role: Internal Sales

Location: Milton Keynes

Sector: Construction Supplies / Builders Merchants

Package: £28,000 – £31,000 + Bonus – Dependent on experience – No weekend working!

We are looking for a genuine people person, someone who’s able to engage with customers and who wants to develop a sales career within the construction supplies sector.

About the Role

The ideal candidate would have some sales or trade counter experience from the merchants world but this is NOT essential. This hunt is all about finding the right person as the product side of things can be taught, whereas the natural ‘people skills’ ability will be in-built.

Training and Development

So full training can be provided and there is a clear induction program to bring you up to speed. It is not normally possible to enter the industry at an Internal Sales level and this is still an industry where you can get noticed and progress. Many of the Managing Directors and Regional Directors we deal with started at this level!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
