Salary: Up to £37,000 OTE

Location: Wakefield

Start: ASAP

On behalf of our specialist distribution clients, we are looking to appoint a proactive and motivational Sales professional to lead the telesales team, at their branch in Wakefield.

What You'll Do

As Internal Sales Team Leader you will be responsible for developing the team to generate new business and developing customer base through activation and retention. A typical day will involve delivering a high level of service to potential and existing customers whilst increasing sales, product lines and profitability.

Duties Include

  • Developing long-term business relationships
  • Leading the team and offering support in identifying opportunities
  • Responding to quotation requirements in a timely manner, i.e. same day
  • Increase the product range sold to each customer
  • Utilising the sales tools provided to maximise the full potential and spend of each customer
  • Achieving an initial gross profit margin, as well as increased sales of an agreed percentage
  • Maintaining accurate computerized records are kept up to date
  • Setting and monitoring weekly and monthly objectives
  • Actively supporting all marketing campaigns/outbound promotions by maximising take-up where possible through analysis.

What You Need

We're keen to speak to commercially aware sales professionals with 2+ years experience in a similar role. Candidates should have leadership skills / qualities and be proficient in pricing and profitability.

  • Ability to multitask, be organized, agree priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Sound knowledge of customer base, customer needs and sales cycle
