Internal Sales Team Leader

North Warwickshire
£45-55k + bonus (OTE £60-65k)

Business Overview

Our client is a well-established UK manufacturer of engineered access and perimeter security solutions, supplying high-quality products into commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors. With an excellent reputation for technical expertise, product quality and customer service, the business continues to invest in its people and is now looking to strengthen its Internal Sales function through the appointment of an experienced Team Leader.

The Role

As Internal Sales Manager / Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team of four Internal Sales Executives who manage the majority of the customer sales journey. This is a leadership role first and foremost. Success will come through developing the team, improving performance and creating a proactive sales culture rather than being the individual salesperson.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Internal Sales Executives.
  • Drive performance through regular coaching, objective setting and accountability.
  • Build a proactive account management culture focused on growing existing customers and re-engaging dormant accounts.
  • Improve quotation follow-up and conversion rates across the team.
  • Support the team with technical enquiries, acting as the point of escalation for more complex customer requirements.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards continue to be delivered.
  • Analyse sales activity and identify opportunities to improve team performance and commercial results.
  • Work closely with other departments to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
