Are you a driven sales professional with experience leading and developing successful teams? We're looking for an Internal Sales Team Leader to join our growing business and play a key role in driving sales performance, customer growth, and team development.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and developing an internal sales team to maximize sales opportunities, increase profitability, and build long-term customer relationships. You'll lead by example, driving new business activity while ensuring existing customers receive an exceptional level of service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching and supporting the team to identify and convert sales opportunities.
  • Driving customer growth through prospecting and business development activities.
  • Increasing customer spend and product penetration across existing accounts.
  • Setting, monitoring, and reviewing team objectives and performance.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional activities to maximize customer engagement.
  • Ensuring customer records and sales information are accurately maintained.
  • Managing profitability and gross profit targets across the team.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced sales professional with leadership or team management experience.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to balance sales growth and profitability.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A confident communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and customer focused.

Experience within a similar sales leadership role and knowledge of customer sales cycles, products, competitors, and dealer networks would be advantageous.
