We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Sales person to join our busy Onsite team, based at our customer’s site in Kitts Green, Birmingham. Our customer is an industrial manufacturer specializing in producing lightweight metals, primarily aluminum sheet, plate, extrusions, and architectural products.

About The Internal Sales Role

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries, handling requests by phone and email with a helpful and professional approach. You’ll use our internal systems to accurately identify, source, and price the products customers need, and you’ll record enquiries, orders, invoices, and other key documentation to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll also play an important part in working with our suppliers and internal teams. This includes sourcing pricing and delivery information, raising and processing purchase orders, and liaising with colleagues across different departments to ensure every customer receives a seamless service. If you enjoy a varied role where organization, accuracy, and great communication really shine, this could be the perfect fit.

We’re looking for someone confident and proactive and who isn’t afraid to get stuck into a range of tasks. Our preference is for someone from a similar sector; however, we are open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.

What we’re looking for in our Internal Sales person:

  • Experience of dealing with MRO products or working in an engineering/sales environment.
  • Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
  • Good level of communication and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Willing and able to learn about and support new products.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and have the ability to work to deadlines and targets.
